So my stock Tacoma from August turned into this by February.
1.5-2" of lift. 37s on trailreadys, bumpers,sliders, winch, poly body mounts, lots of smashing and cutting to make it all fit. . Basic stuff but too nice of a truck to beat.
Last week I bought this so I can put the Tacoma back to a almost stock and have a dedicated trail rig.
5.29s, spool rear, Ausie up front, cromo shafts, hydro steer, doubler, propane, will have my 37s and wheels from the Tacoma for a bit.

I despise most Toyota's but I do have soft spot for the old ones. Those things always amazed me how well they do on all leafs when guys with buggies are getting stuck. Looks like it's got some good potential!

Am I doing it right? The day after I took delivery of it I went wheeling and ended up putting it on both sides while trying to find the limits...
Decided I didn't want someone else's crappy work to be what people associate me with so...
Hopefully I will have it ready to wheel by the Sunday after Easter.

Traded the 11 Tacoma in on a 15 tundra for tow duty.
I accidentally bought a time delay based brake controller so I had to order a progressive controller that will hopefully get here by Friday so I can tow the truggy to BV for the chapter run.

It's about perfect right there. I had the load a few different ways and any other way the truck was squatting over 3" and made the front end feel light. This is about 2" of squat.

That's the drawback of a half ton truck. I see a set of air bags in your future. Still, if you're only towing on occasion the gas 1/2 ton makes a way nicer daily driver.
