I would just look for things that are a hack job...

I prefer automatics also but I do have 1100 bucks burning a hole in my pocket that I could spend turning this into an automatic.

You've all seen my build thread I'm sure. Good trade? I'd only do it if there was no cash involved just a straight title trade.

I'd considered it for sure. TJ's have better resale. Check the frame for rust. Make sure the tcase skid plate bolts aren't rusted out. Also. TJ automatics to 03 were 3 sp so no OD. If the wheelbase is lengthened, you might get a 4sp auto in there...maybe even a AW-4. I'll bet some google fu would turn up that info. I'm not sure how easy the 04-06 TJ autos swap in.

Sold my RZR last night. Posted on CL at 10:30 yesterday morning at a stupidly high price to see if I would even get a nibble, and at 2:45 a guy called, was there 30 minutes later with us wife. They walked around it once, drove around the driveway and that was it, SOLD! I owned it for @ 4 months and made $1800 on it.

Now if I could do that once a week I could quit this government job :D

TJ looks decent Sam. Just check it over real good. Would be better if they didn't comp cut the rear. Not really a fan of that mod.

Getting ready to head to PA. Will be cheaper than flying but stuck in car with just the wife. Luckily she has school work to do so it's like I'm driving alone.

We will be passing back thru Ohio around dinner time.

Coming through Columbus at all? You're probably going north of us but you're welcome anytime. The whole eor gang will be here for dinner and we will have plenty to go around.

Well since I freed up the shop space from the RZR I guess I'll start on the TH rig today. First thing is to get this rear bumper trimmed to fit the hatch. Next will be front bumper replacement. I'm going to time myself for shit n grins. :D

On the hunt for a new shop to use. Last one screwed us bad. In my line its easier to pay another shop to do the work on customers and some of our own cars. Jobs get done faster, most of the time, and gives me someone to blame when the repair is not right. Hopefully this new shop works out.

Why did signing up to work a double today sound like a good idea two weeks ago? Ah yes, I know, if you don't mark off for June, July, August in January...you have to work for each other...and money.

Putting the final touches on a 78 hour work week.

Guess I didn't realize Ohio has the huddle house restaurant. Thought that was just in Harlan area

I've seen them all over. And had mediocre service at best. I'm digging Tilted Kilts.

I'm about 500 feet from a Tilted Kilt...

The boys are learning about what we do when we break parts on the trucks.

Diassemble, spend money on better parts, reassemble.

It would be nice if replacement jeep differentials were only 9 bucks.
