Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Worked all Saturday at Deanna's house. Went to a couple tap rooms in East Columbia Saturday Evening. Parts came in today to get my front back together. Will be putting new spindle bearings and seals in this week and hopefully get the front back together. Going to have to trim some of the new 35 spline shaft to get the warn lock outs to work with them. Not sure how I'm going to do that yet.

What are you having to trim?

I had a hell of a time getting my warn's over my 30 spline stubs...both stubs and warn's are new. After about 45 minutes fighting EACH one they went on.

The 35 spline stubs and the WARN 35 spline hubs don't fit. The stubs are about 1/16 - 1/8 too long. I've also found that you can change the hub inner race and it will space the hub out .200 and clear them. Easy solution is to run YUKON hubs but they are a lot more expensive. Links I found on this issue if you are interested.

Hate the pictures are missing here...^^^

Oh man that'd be awesome. Yeah it's a D30 and I've tried the wrench trick, the rag trick, and prybars without any luck.

My guess is operator error.

I have that problem often.....

Had to put my dog to sleep tonight. She had a cyst that had been growing on her neck for about a month or so now, and it got to the point that draining only lasted about a day, and she was having trouble eating, sleeping, and breathing. We had her 12 years last month and she would have been 14 years old later this year. She definitely had a great life with us, but it's still hard saying goodbye. It's amazing how much they become family.

Dang Tim. Sorry. While you were actually doing it, we were at the vet discussing our dog's end of life plan.

Hard discussion, hard decision.

Thanks. It really is. This is the 2nd time i've been down this road, and it wasn't any easier.

Sorry for your loss.

We lost 3 OLD dogs in a 4 month span about 3 years ago...very hard.

Hell I bawled my eyes out when we put down the little runt of our last littler of Danes...it's never easy.

High2by on the forums. I will tell you that this rig will do it all. I was with him in Moab and this XJ is built right and everything works well.
Too be sure he's still wheeling?

He says he's coming to the Crawl. He might be a passenger or spotting people for entertainment purposes.

I think he wants to build another XJ, just smaller. More for trail riding that rock crawling.

use the force you must. Wheeling your life is, spectator you are not.
