If we can get a MWC rigs thing going, we would have to do something with categories. Otherwise the same 3 rigs would win every month.

Maybe have a RoY and that person gets to go to WF for free so there is a reason to enter other then bragging rights?

Do a head to head thing every month. only 2 rigs to vote on. that way it wont burn out 3 months down the road when the regulars have all entered.

I want to say that this has been discussed before somewhere and the consensus at that time was to let it play out with the National Rig of the month.
Anyone volunteering to run it on the chapter level? I am willing to listen to options. The national one is going to be run by someone different so maybe it will be better?
I think it would be the same rigs over and over again...well maybe not some of you (me too) have issues keeping rigs for very long...

When I was on another forum, I did do this. The deal was, once you won, you could enter, but you would not be able to be up to win for a second month in a year.

So once a month, start a submission thread, let in 2 or 3 rigs, then open a thread with a poll? Sounds ok. We gonna do a calendar or what? Hate to say it but Terrehautian's idea of free admission to WF for the winner at the end of the year.

Themes is something else that was one on Car of the month from a former forum I was on. I remember one month it was snow pictures. Things like that.

I can run the threads if you guys want. i am on this forum way to much anyway so it would give me something to do.
if the BOD needs to vote on it let me know if you want me to start threads.
as far as the free WF. i would suggest waiting till after WF13, 2 reasons. 1) gives a whole year of entry's. 2) makes sure nobody go's all California on us and cry's over ROTM.

Ok, so I'm like the fourth person who'll volunteer to help out with this if needed. I think a theme idea would be best to keep panties from getting in a bunch. Something like truggies, stockers, mild lifts, etc. to allow more people to participate.
ROTY seems like a good idea, but not sure how you would execute it . We'd need to reserve a couple months for ROTY voting, unless we just went balls out with all the prior winners in one poll in Dec.
Just throwing stuff out there. Like the idea though.

How I did RoTY on the forum I was on is that the final month is a RoTY vote and no monthly winner was selected one year. Another year was a shortened time to enter RoTM (like a week to enter and a week to vote) then two weeks of voting for RoTY.

Who is the #1 person running this?
Who are the team members?
What are the rules?
An official "OK" from the site admin, that would be ChiJeff.
I want to see an step by step plan, start and stop dates, rules, name of contest, rewards, etc, etc.
When you get it together, send the info to the BOD and we will look it over. Long story short, if YOU want it, and YOU run it, I will support it.
