NIce! Where is that at?

^^ nice picture! looks fun!
happy st. patt's, fellars.
yet another inebriated post from the chief. i can't wait to sober up, so i can drive my xj! g'night, folks!

...and I thought I was the only one!

I'm interested to see how you finish the grille out. Are you planning on putting the fenders and header back on?

I've been wanting to do something like that on mine for a while but I couldn't figure out how to do it without it looking bad.

All the ones that I've seen done well have countless hours of labor involved... and I don't need done that bad.

well power to the xj. i was at uwharrie this weekend for the volunteer workday on the trails. we put up some split rail fencing in some areas and fixed some of the corduroy brides on some of the creek crossings on the dutch jon trail. I am was shocked at how well my little stock heep ran dutch jon. now just need a few upgrades and some harder trails.

Finally got around to painting and installing the sliders i've had since October:

I don't think I will EVER weld that well.

Its a race car of some sort, every one of his welds looks like that, I dont care what its for. Checkout the fabrication section on Garagejournal.com for more of his stuff.

Just installed a net for my rear cargo section, I was hoping a tailgate net for pick-up trucks would work, hence my 'wanted to buy' thread. I had no idea they were that cheap new though, so I just bought one from Oreillys for 22 bucks.

Works great! This is mostly to keep the dogs out of my daughters face when they are in the rear. They can get a little overwhelming, especially since my kids face is usually coated in a food of some sort.

Realized this morning that something is wrong with my jeep and I have no idea what it is.... after spending about $200 to get the damn 02 sensors working right. Still has a little bit of a cough at idle that is driving me crazy. Also feeling some sort of vibrations from under the front end...don't know if its the axle u joints (Front DS is pulled) or motor mounts needing replaced.....or both.....

Motor mounts are like a one-beer job with 30 bucks in materials... ujoints are a pain. I know where I would start :D

I like that! May have to use that idea if I can figure out mounting without your cage. I have never wanted to pay for one of those metal barriers that just look like crap quality, and my dogs have been spoiled with the front seat for too long.
