Hey ya'll, its been a while... And now that I have effectively missed the wheeling season I am finally ready to fix my ride. (by ready I mean I have the money saved up and time to work on it...)

I decided to completely rebuild my drive line and this is what I need/am looking for. (I want to see if any of you know places to get this stuff online/in phx or anywhere else cheap)

SYE for my np231
Driveshaft (thinking tom woods or someone local that has a good warranty)
D44 Yoke (mine got damaged when the joint blew up)
4.88 gears for D30 and D44
New carriers and internals or cheap lockers maybe...

I wanted to start buying this stuff this weekend and throughout next week. If any of ya'll know of places that have deals on these let me know.

Thanks!

phoenix rack and axle on 35th st and something.
its south of the 202 next to the stripclub hahaha

i had my driveshaft completely rebuilt for $170 in one day...
i like theyre work

Thank you all for giving me links and places.

I have ordered an HD SYE and a new u-bolt style yoke for my d44. after that is installed I will get a DS from PHX rack and axle

I will be ordering the gears, carriers and lockers for the axles this week and have Kracker install them... (after Payete Draw, sadly...)

and after that its onto steering and skids/rockrails... <- any one know of any deals or wants to weld me some custom ones?? (rock rails and skids...)

Once again thank you all and I'll be seeing you on trails soon! Wohooooo!!!!

i got a stock tc skid. i know you said fab'ed one, but in case you cant find one im here.

may I suggest not doing 4.88's? the pinion gets so tiny in the D30. Heaven knows why they even offer 4.88's for the D30. Do 4.56's you won't regret it. I run 35's and it's great. Ask AZXJ and jporvaz. They will all agree with me for sure. Others will agree too I'm sure but I know how they think about 4.88's

I'll make you a HD cross member for $100. 1/4" thick 2x4. Its beef I made one for me and can post pics. Maybe we can do rock rails too. TC skid too

I'll take it. Sending pm right now... Even stock is better than none at all... Thanks! Anything else anyone?

I'll do some more research on the 4.56's. The only reason why I wanted 4.88's was because I do not want to do it again and this is not my daily driver... But I get your point about the d30 pinion. Thanks for your input! Highly appreciated.

PM me about prices and pics/specs for the skids and rock rails.

Take it from me, D30 + 4:88 + 36" swamper/SX's = CARNAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
9 teeth on a ring gear less than 1 year old.

Also, screw the sliders. Cut out the rockers and use 2x6x3/16 You will love the clearance and the toughness.

Cuz I know you it wont bother me, but I love my 4.56's. Plus if you are new to deep gears you dont want to hit the 4.88, 5.13 or 5.38's, the pinion is so small if you are not used to deep gears and hit the skinny to hard, it will be costly quite often.
But to each there own.... I still made rockfest!!!!:moon: HAHAHAHA

Ill take dana 44 5.38 pinions over dana 30 4.88s or even 4.56s any day of the week as 4.56s and 35s on the street sucks donkey balls:gee: .....nah its not hateful just hard the transmission and all the drivetrain with it plus it sucks in the rocks Id say undergeared is worse than overgeared as I can always use less pedal its a lot harder to control it when you have no choice but to use it...

love it or hate it I just want to wheel it.. and yes you suck that you made rockfest...
