Thanks dude. No worries on the beadlocks, they went together pretty quick, I'm stupid sick, but I couldn't wait to get them on any longer (I still need to get them balanced).

Those Hannemans look good: Vatozone sells factory color paint in spray cans... we should paint them on a warm day.

maybe but I do plan on painting the whole jeep this summer so I might just wait and keep the poser gnarr look ;)

beadlocks are on!

:worship::worship::worship::worship: Man this is one great looking rig.

Are you still running at just 5.5" lift and 35's?
probably closer to 6-6.5" in front and 6.5-7" in the rear with these new springs. But it's a compromise, my friends have prerunners and I like to go fast. We'll see how it works in the sand dunes this weekend. If I'm not happy I'll pull a leaf in the rear.

kinda off the subject but i thought i'd show ya, i made it up too, im pretty happy with it:looney:

Great Job Kyle  Now do it in the rain. I dig your rig! Isn't St. George cool?! I dig those trails.

So yeah I think I might actually be ready for the dunes. :clap:Bumpstops, straps, shocks, not gettin the seats in yet though.

Ya Spring Crawl in April will be sweet!

I got death wobble yesterday at 30mph so I checked some things and the balljoints were shot.
So.... last night I installed new balljoints,
and while I was in there:
I welded some cracks and plated the frame on the inside and top of the driverside frame rail from the crossmember- back to the motor mount.
and built an inner steering box brace! (pics later)
Thanks for the help slcpunk74

Just need to find somewhere that will balance my beadlocks... I hate using airsoft pellets. And I should be good to go in the dunes!

Went to Little Sahara sand dunes this weekend with the IC chapter
and........
Who says Cherokee's can't fly :D

(here's the full trip report http://www.utah4x4club.com/index.php?showtopic=8909&hl=)

and I guess I bent the oil pan a little where the center limit strap is.
Well.... so much that the girdle was hitting the crank and causing a knock. So I fixed that tonight and beefed it up a little. I'll relocate the limit strap mount another day.

Hopefully this will spread the impact if I ever smack it on a rock. (3/16")

Who said they couldn't??? I've jumped mine a little... (not high), and I've watched a buddy get probably 6 feet in his XJ. he seriously messed his up though...

wow man... I'm impressed. I've busted a LOT of rear U-joints..... but I still have yet to damage a front.

man after an hour of reading through this thread nice build up.

Stratton has a new build project now......er, modification of this one. He did a little remodel of the A-pillar and roof last week. Sounds like a tube delivery is scheduled........
