Post up your carnage!

. Lord (and others) know some got a little upset when at after 7am we started playing music in OUR camp out on a dry lake bed for Our camp. And felt the need for it to be told to be turned down

"hey, at 2am it's cool. but at 6:30? come on man."= :rattle:

Kevin blew up his drivshaft in a big way on claw on friday night, had to drive out on Front wheel. Same run Mark lost his tire carrier in the whoops on the way to the trail head. Mike-G walked up the Z turn on aftershock, no winch, no waiting, Blink and you missed it. No carnage on LBJ this morning

Ryan Brown lost a front drive shaft pulling up onto his trailer today as he was leaving... perfect timing!

I did the Rattlesnake Canyon run, which was the easy run and fairly boring... until all of us on the run decided to try one of the offshoots to see if it was more exciting, and it was.

Left that one with some damage to my frame side LCA mount, some dents in the skid plates, and some serious alignment issues.

My gear oil continues to puke out of the rt side, my valve cover seems to be leaking heavier than it used to and my p/s cooler is leaking pretty bad.

Looks like I'm done wheeling for a month or so to get this stuff fixed.

Great seeing everyone, sorry for bailing early.

Everyone made a big deal at the trail meeting saying "no one gets left behind". Well, when John's front end broke, and Opie towed him back- the first half of the group just kinda, kept going. The other 5 rigs behind them, had to play catch up. Big ups to robert who came back and winched everyone else through the z turn, because the guy who was winching disappeared. He did come back, but that was after 4 of the 5 rigs were through.....

That's weird...... Rowdy or not, "No gets left behind" is the golden rule.. Without getting into a drama episode, I would like to know why. Did anyone ask him why he left??

Just want to say thanks to Parker, Spence, Rob K, John and everyone else in the the 'rear' of the Aftershock group for an awesome day.

As far as damage goes I pretty much blew up my PS pump but it is yet to be verified. It went through a quart of PS fulid in 1 run so I think it might be terminal. Thank you to Mike G, Goatman and Spence for filling it up while I was teetering on the waterfall humping the rocks, damn t-case drop :dunno:

I will post pics of the other damage later but as a teaser they include: rear quater smash, rear hatch, front light and signal smash, rear leaf breakage, tie rod tweak, trackbar end tweak. At least the wife didn't freak out too much when I tolder her about the 'necessary' changes

I have a feeling it was because we were the younger, and maybe lower budget crowd. There was a guy there with a bitchin blue jeep, and I complimented his jeep/driving a couple times- got no response.

Well to clear things up, the trail leader did come back down after I made it up the z turn waterfall. Robert K winched my brother up (who was the last jeep on the trail) and after that the trail leader drove his jeep back down and followed us out until we finished the trail. He was really cool and apologized that he drove off. He said he did not see my brother and I since we were parked a ways down from the waterfall.

Hey, at 2am it's SO not cool. And who needs the " wake up old people shout out every 15 minutes"?

What fun is that? Glad your dad had a good time.

I think both our dads had a blast. We ran LBJ, and my dad was on the downhill side of a really tippy situation, he wished he could've gone on saturday, but that'd been too long away from camp for him. But sunday's short run was good. I'd bet if Josh had the space his dad would be storing a jeep there. He was having a hell of a time.

As for the bent JCR tie rod, I tweaked mine a little too. I'm thinking I needing to do high-steer with a kit that gets the tierod above the hood. :)

Ha, a 0-15psi pressure gauge too. :) I think I need new exhaust now. Not sure if the tire carrier is going back on or not. How many plugs could it take to patch a torn sidewall?? :)
