A/C evap. question
I have a 2001 XJ. Am wondering if anyone knows if both sides of the evaporator use the 4596152 line clip, or does one side use a different part #?
I had the evaporator changed quite a while ago and instead of using those clips they scraped together some hose clamps and other parts. What happens if the clips aren't used? Will the pipes blow apart under system pressure? I presently have a leak at those connections and will be replacing the hard line o-rings and will order up the correct line clips if necessary. Thanks! |

Re: A/C evap. question
I can't imagine what they did (post a pic) but it may hold the lines, the o-rings are holding the pressure!
