98 fuel injectors upgrade

Does anybody know what lb rating the fuel injectors on a 98 are? All of the threads I've read about the ford injector upgrade are on pre97 XJ's, will this work on a 98 as well? Another thought, if Ford injectors will work, will BMW injectors work as well? Do I need a fuel pressure regulator to run the upgraded injectors?

why do you want to run bigger injectors on a stock motor?

the xjs are 19lbs

but theres no reason to go bigger unless are a getting more air in your motor

The '96-'98 injectors flow 23.3lb/hr at 49psi. That's more than enough even with a few mods so no need to upsize to bigger injectors.

Thanks Dr.D- I knew that the earlier ones were 19lb, so I was just curious why nobody was talking about upgrading the late model ones. Like you said, I'm sure mine will be fine for whatever minor mods I end up doing.

Do you know what rate the 99+ run at? I'm in the process of upgrading to the 99 intake manifold, which injectors should I run, the 98 or 99? Oh, and how do you find out all of this misc. info? Thanks-
