Rear shock crossmember replacement

I have been looking around for a few days using the search function , and I can't find much info on replacing , and building a new rear shock crossmember .

Mine has rusted out on one side , and let go from the floor / frame on the pass side

I was thinking of moving one shock , either the front or the back one , so they are on the same side of the axle , and fabing up a new crossmember

Any Idea's here ? anyone else done this ? the good the bad and the ugly

Run them through the floor and be done with it ha ha but anyway I was thinking of making one out of channell with different shock mount holes and then wrapping the frame in angle. I did run mine through the floor though.
