lock right not acting right

So I just got done putting a lock right in my 8.8 rear. Everything seemed ok but when I took it out for test drive it makes a popping noise every couple seconds and kicks the jeep to the left a little when it does. only on the gas, going straight or turning. Anybody have any idea why this would be?

drive it around a little bit. My Aussie's did the same thing for about the first 200 miles.

Did you properly set(and check) the "gap"?
