No Start/NO power

As soon as I tried to start I got a click and all power is gone. No radio, no power locks, nothing. I checked connection on battery (Optima Red top about 3 years old), and banged on starter (rebuilt last fall). After this I got my key to buzz with the door open for about a second then nothing.

I was having a similar issue with my 98 XJ it turned out to be corrosion on my ground wire from the battery. Replaced it no problem since.

test your battery. If you have 12-14 volts, then it is probably your battery cables.
