Oil filter question

I've heard you can use the 5.0 Ford filter on the 2.5 jeep, can you do the same on the 4.0. Changing the oil tomorrow if it will work I would like to use the larger Ford one. Thanx

I know on my '98 4.0 (horizontal orientation) I can use the longer Mobil1 M1-301. Expensive though.

This info might be on max's site, too lazy to look.
