If i put a ZJ rear disc in my d44 will I need to change my master cylinder to accept both front disc and rear disc? I have a 96XJ w/ ABS hp30/35 in the jeep now. Lookin' at doin' the rear disc swap, just wondering if there was more to gettin it to work than just boltin' it to the d44.

No you do not need to change your master cylinder, but you may want to remove the small black washer in the proportioning valve to get more pressure to the rear though. Some have noted that this makes a differance.

As for bolting them up...you can not just pull the backing plate off and slap the ZJ plates on. You must either modify the backing plates to match the bolt patterns on the housing or vice versa.
