I am installing a CB radio this weekend and woundering if is possable to install it under the glove box in that little cubby hole area? Does anyone know what is behind that area and if it is possable??

I put mine under the dash board on the RH side, hanging down (but pitched upward about 45*) That works well and doesn't get in the passengers way. (I can take a picture if you want)

Mine is the opposite.. Drivers side, right hand side of the column, it looks like it would be in the way, but its not. Even my friend at 6' 3" can drive and wheel w/o it hitting his knee/shin...

Mine is mounted on the passenger side of the console, However I also thought about mounting it where the center vent is rust below the radio. you could mount it just like the am/fm radio.
