Done it a few times and have torn some up with screwdrivers and such. Is there a trick to it or a special tool for removing the electrical connections?
Sometimes, the connector will pop right off, other times, you'll have to wiggle the wire retainer out of the way. I've broken one of mine, it's held on with a zip tie now. I've always used the smallest flat blade screwdriver with pretty good luck, I haven't even bent it yet.
http://www.eagleday.com looks like they have replacement connectors available, along with some other stuff.
