grand droped pitman arm. .....?????

is there a certain year I should be looking for? I figure I need to drop my stearing down a notch and heard that one from a Grand Cherokee will fit. I have a 97. Is there a certain year I need to look for? This is my DD and I need to do this asap as she is off the road right now.
