1998 mustang rear disk to d35 has anyone done it?

my bro in law is scarping his wrecked 1998 mustang and I was thinking of grabbing the rear disk off it to maybe use on my xj or mj does anyone know if they will work ?

I would stick to some of the known working parts. Like those off of other Jeeps.

there free, I was just curious if they would work.. I have seen where they have used crown vic rears

It could work... not denying that. I'll leave it to someone who knows more about this, but I would stick to the old and true way .

I'm sure if you had the Ford 8.8 rear, there'd be no problem.

I believe that the Mustang had some flavor of 8.8 rear. Sine they are free, pull them and try it. Maybe mock up on a spare axle?

Definitely a 8.8 in that mustang. Set up for a 4 link from the factory, will need to torch off some of the mounts and weld leaf spring perches in its place.

I believe the stag rears are 28 spline as well as Rangers..
