Can you mount a power seat on a manual seat mount?

I searched but wasn't able to find anything on that. I have a 1990 XJ, want to know if I got power seats from a 91 Limitted, I could change them over to the manual mount? Or would I need to keep them on their existing bracket and hook up power?

IIRC, the back of the seat is adjusted manually regardless of manual/power base. As long as the seat bases are the same setup shouldn't matter. I know the slider seat bases are different that the power ones. But otherwise should work.
