lebaron hoood vents

this might be a stupid question but i was curious to know how u guys go about installing these vents in the hood. obviously u have to cut holes in the hood. but the 4 screw holes will sit below the metal in the hood as to where there is nothing to screw to. plus they arent exactly feather weight so i dont want them to make the hood bounce. i had an idea of how to put them in i just want to see if there is an easier or better way to do it. thanks

heres how mine are mounted underneath. went to home depot and got a piece of aluminum angle and drilled holes in it and put screws through. cant remember wut size angle it was but it wasnt big
