Cutting grill for winch

So im in the process of building my bumper, and was thinging about cutting the grill to let the winch set about another inch or two in. I would have to cut the grill and the bottom piece of the front clip. Is it ok to do so or will it just weeken the front clip and make it all flimzy and shit.

No problem with that. The whole front clip is just held in place with some screws and doesn´t do anything for stability.

Ha, weaken the the front clip? Its not a structural component. You'll be fine.

My headerpanel is cracked, held on by only 4 out of the 8 nuts, and cut for my winch, nothing wrong with it. It is actually a pretty sturdy piece of fiberglass .

I cut into mine several years ago, and I never had any issues.
