Hi guys,
Since I replaced my exhaust manifold (with the one from APN) my end pipe rattles against the gas tank sometimes. I've checked it, and it shows (on the pipe) that it hits the (very wide) flanges on the fuel tank. Now, I can try and re-align the pipe but I don't expect that I can change much there since it needs to be connected to the manifold and that location is pretty much fixed, right? On the other hand, maybe it needs just a little.
Another option is to bend the flanges on the fuel tank a little up or down, which should do the job also. Would bending the flanges be ok? I mean, they're there for a reason right? Or would it be better to give the re-aligning of the pipe (by dis- and reconnecting it to the manifold) a shot first?
Any ideas/advise on this?
Thanks.
