bumper build

i started on my bumper build today took the bumper off but now have some questions
heres the bumper off

my questions are is there anything else i need to take off or cut?
and what is this?

that is the vaccum canister. It should control where your vents blow and cruise control mainly. Most just move it under the hood somewhere.

You can cut out any pieces you want. Most people cut the lower fenders as well, but it all depends on your bumper design.

on yours, cut the fenders/flares to where they are flush with the bottom of the corner lights, and the body line that goes down the door. like this

i did, but they quit working the first time i went wheelin, so it might not be such a great idea...

That picture that you posted is FrankZ's bumper. I bought one from him and he helped me put it on. I put the vacuum canister next to the better under the hood and I kinda bent the horns up in there so they dont show.

i need help with the bumper mounts like how far do they need to come out

well if your building the bumper then they need to come out as far as you need them to? I made mine go about 3 incnes past my bumper so i could drill them for d rings.

so since my bumper is gonna hold a winch can i have the mounts stick out 9in so i could put the winch on top of them?

Yea you can always make them a little longer then you need and trim them back after you get the winch on top.
