You guy's with new gears just need to stop once after you get them hot and let them cool down. Then have at it, you'll be fine.

I haven't made it to the store to get beer. Should I still show up?

PROGRESS?!?!?!

Sheesh, I'm just starting!

Let's see now, what is there left to do....
- Install a front axle housing. (!)
- Switch front axleshaft to remove disco.
- Cover the hole in the housing for the disco unit.
- Install rear locker.
- Switch sides of rear brake backing plates (long story).
- Replace rear wheel bearings and seals (have to be pressed!).
- Relocate rear axle 3/4" forward.
- Make some rear lift springs from comanche leaf packs.
- Obtain and install longer e brake cables.
- Modify drag link to eliminate binding.
- Trim fenders.
- Install swampers on new wheels (when they arrive).
- Have Dr. Sawzall ensure that those new meats actually fit!
- Install front tow hooks.
- Go to school full time.
- Work 3 eight hour shifts.
- Sleep...... (yeah, right.)

Yep, this all needs to be done by Thursday morning. Currently, it's 3:05 am Sunday and counting.

Hope I make it. Pray for me....

Jared :wow:

do you have a block off kit, (seal, plate, gasket, axle shaft) ? I've got a kit if you need one, also need help with the locker, what kind of locker / axle?

its not like I have anything to do like a job ;)

Failure.....

Not gonna make it.

What got done:

rear Lockright
fabricated Rear dif. armor
Rear disk brakes
Chromoly hi-steer with 7/8 TRE
Prototype PUV Chromoly tapered roller bearing long arms
Fabricated front diff. armor
S.S. brake lines
derusted and painted both diffs.
85% of PUV rollcage
Relocated rear shocks
bored out throttle body
Replaced shocks
installed 8" lift
cleaned all rugs and door panels
removed entire interior
started to derust the unaccounted for floor rust
bought tons of supplies and materials
new tires
fabricated hitch
installed front and rear fog lights into bumpers
Had custom decals made
rewired drivers door panel (wire by wire)

What did not get done:

completion....basically another weeks worth of work. beteern dialing things in and still fabricatein many things as well as installing the mountain of other parts and accessories I had bought or made I simply did not give myself enough time. :(

Dont know what I was thinking....clearly I must have thought things go smoothly and you can do 2 months worth of work in just 2 weeks by yourself.

Finished up a couple of last minute things this weekend. I installed my Warn M8000 with the solenoids located under the hood, and installed a set of the Dana 30 axle tube seals. (VERY slick!)
I leave early Thursday morning.
