Personally, I never think a question is stupid...

Anyway, it is a factory replacement yoke, not an eliminator.

it is a great option for XJ's it both lengthens the yoke and it allows for more u-joint travel.

I see! I actually already got a SYE for my XJ but a buddy of mine is in need of one for his YJ and that would have been the deal of the century!
