XJ #10

Bring this up to speed.

One picture from AOP

Fender smash action

My OCD kicked in fast..bought a patriot blue fender that's an exact match:

Decided to hack the small rust hole out from the passenger quarter. This was the only rust on the whole jeep..gone now

Still need to finish the sealing and smoothing it out. Stupid dewalt wheels exploded

Bringing this back from the dead:

Guess I'll bring this up to date.

swapped out my steering for the CavFab high clearance setup:

Cleaned the jeep and made it shiny:

Let it hang out with its adopted cousin:

Flexed on my driveway wall while wife was gone:

More random pics

And I'll finally leave you with more random snaps lol

Decided to dump cash on a bike, which could have been a good deal of jeep parts but I needed a new hobby

Is that Chickamauga Battle Field? I know that tower. Neat to see places I use to go when I was up there.

Is that a winch bumper?

Ruff Stuff Stiffners are sitting in the shop waiting for a day to install

We also added a small pre runner style lean forward hoop the the front of the CavFab stubby bumper.

Replacement headlights (plug and play) for the XJ from High Beam Offroad. These are not yet available on their website. I was super stoked to be able to get my hands on them.

The light output is absolutely INSANE and the cutoff is perfect. Plus, they look pretty damn cool. They require a bit of tweaking to get them to fit as they are pretty big, but all in all a very easy install.

These require that spacers be placed between the headlight bezel and bucket as they are about 3/4" thicker than stock headlights (they have large heat fins on the back)

They look sick, and work better than I ever expected:

Stock High Beams:

New Lights Low Beam:

New Lights (High Beam):

New Lights (High Beam):

Cutoff (no they aren't aimed too high, the jeep is on an incline here and pulled up on the curb/side walk...ive driven with them for about a month now driving in the dark 5 days a week and have yet to have anyone flash me)

Headlights are absolutely kick ass..

Did some routine maintenance, my choice oil:

Fall finally decided to kick in so took some random pictures:

Went out and actually wheeled (NAXJA FLOG 2016 @ AMA), it hasn't rained here since March, so its a bit dusty...

Post wheeling inspection, getting ready for frame stiffeners:

Few weeks ago I found a MINT overhead console for cheap, so I bought it (however it came with no harness or mounting bracket):

Decided buying an 00 Limited 2wd XJ was a good idea...

I literally bought this jeep to steal the interior out of and resell. The driver door is KO'd, along with that section of the rocker panel...its easily fixable...the hinges and both A/B pillars are fine.

I have essentially gutted it of all the limited interior pieces and swapped them over to mine, super nice factory black leather FTW

So pumped to get this stuff in the XJ, rear leather is essentially perfect:

Old cloth was near perfect...no stains/tears:

Old vs new

Will have to get better pics of the front leather, but I was in a hurry to get everything buttoned up

Woodgrain FTW

Factory Tweeters FTW:

Flying first class now with the leather, headliner has been dropped off at the upholstery shop for recovering in charcoal grey...then to install the OHC.
