They don't however they also wont go through who ever your trying to shoot and hit someone else. Or walls.

My next door neighbor is a cop and a 9mm round stopped him pretty quick.....fortunately the other 3 rounds he took after he wen down were also in non-vital areas so he lived and is back on duty.....after 9mo of rehab.

Do the 9mm. The .40 isn't impressively better and ammo can be had a lot.cheaper in 9mm.
9mm does have stopping power. To argue otherwise is silly.
armslist usually has some decent deals.
