windshield wipers

they are not reseting back to the bottom of the window when i turn them off. when i turn them off they just stop in the middle of the window.. anyone know something i dont to fix this annoying broken wiper.

Check for current to the brown/white wire going in to the wiper motor. This should be hot whenever the key is in run position. That circuit makes it park when the wiper switch is off. If you have power there and it won't park, it must be the motor.

There is no current to my brown/white wire while the key is in the Run position. Only when I turn the wiper setting to Delay is there a current to that wire.

Does this mean the motor is probably not to blame? What could the problem be?

Delay, low, and off, should all send current to that wire. If you only have current in delay, the switch is what's bad.

Yeah mine does the same thing. i have a 2000 xj. it shuts off when u turn them off. it does not return to original position

Yeah, mine does this now too. Windshield was faced away from me and didn't realize how much snow was on there. So I'd guess I toasted the motor then?
