Will this work for my rear driveshaft?

What I have: 2000 XJ, NV241, Dana 35, 4" lift on 31"s

I plan on using an AA HD SYE with a stock XJ front shaft.

Does this work? Is the stock front shaft long enough? Would a stock ZJ front be better?

i thought the Dana 35 had a shorter pinion, which needs a longer driveshaft then the oem front? couple that with that style SYE housing and it would be shorter yet.

or am i mistaken?

Which t-case do you really have,its either a 231 or 242?

I had the same question, looks like two positives and one maybe. Anybody running this setup? D35, AA SYE + stock front shaft?

I don't know how much shorter the 231 is than the 242 but I ran the following without issue:
D35 rear; 242 TC; 5.5" lift; Front driveshaft in rear with RE HnT SYE. It had plenty of room when stretched out.

i definately mean to thread jack. would the front driveshaft work on a 44 with 6.5 inches?
