Im totally not happy as of now, my whole rig is all packed up to go to NWF and my damn brakes are acting up ......... to the dealership monday for recall. And I dont want to hear no crap about swapping the Bendix. This is only my second problem in just over 1 year with it. So who else didnt get to make it to NWF.

PS may cheat and take the GFs Kia.... LOL

I didn't even try to pretend I was going to go this year, as much as I wanted to. My wife just had our first child (a precious little girl) 3 weeks ago, and it would not be fair to her (or economically viable) if I took off for a long weekend to go four wheeling. Oh well, there is always next year.

I've missed two years running. Last year was my trail rig rear end/being in Oregon, this year it's the tow rig tranny. One of these days...

I couldn't go because I had the bright idea of running 33" boggers on my pretty much stock axles... I would almost certainly break something.

I'm normally not too concerned with breakage, but my wife and I are moving to Tacoma in a week and will be paying more rent than we ever have, and on top of that she hasn't found a job yet. So I'll probably not be doing any wheeling until she gets a job and we're a little more financially stable (could be over a month from now :( ).

But there is some light at the end of the tunnel. I'm working my ass off to finish school this fall quarter, and as a congratulations present to myself, I might be doing some major upgrades in the beginning of next year. So stay tuned!

You would have loved it Joe. A location where it is okay to remove most of your clothes! :sunshine:

My real reason is that my wife wouldn't let me go. Glad everyone had fun.

sorry we missed you Jamez. the girls were asking bout you and Emily every 5 minutes. I drank a couple beers for ya though.

I didnt make it cause i didnt think a stocker would work very well, and plus my choke was acting up and it wouldnt move under load of being in gear. fixed that yesterday. :/

Well with a long list of parts yet to put on and an ex-KGB mother-in-law cracking the whip to finish remodeling the house she is living in. Which has tapped the bank acct.. Thank goodness for equity. Hope you all had fun. Starting to feel like a poser with the lack actual wheelin lately.

I initially was planning on going, then more bills arrived in the mail. I worked this weekend, would have much rather gone wheeling. Oh well, next year the XJ will be 100% done (It's about 40% done now) and the bills should be taken care of.

You get those recordings?

It was blocked. Thanks for trying though. I'll download it when I go on R&R.

Well, I wasn't at NWFest, but I can't really complain at what I was doing instead. Andrea and I spent 10 days up in Alaska, mostly out in Nome.

Welcome to Nome (Andrea's hometown), population ~ 4,200.
