I've only used centramatics with 33's but I can easily see how with taller tires they become less effective at balancing the tire.
I dont use them with the sole purpose of balancing the tires, I use them to smooth out the imbalance w/ my drivetrain and compensate for lost weights on trail rides.
I like running 33's because its a good happy medium w/ a part time daily driver, weekend warrior and my polished hp 30.
If I were to run 35's or taller and didn't have lifetime balance on my tire warranty Id opt for airsoft bb's.
