Make sure you don't end up with a pressure plate with LESS pressure than stock.
When I replaced the clutch on my old XJ (about 10 years ago), I got what I thought was a replacement clutch/disc/throwout at a local clutch shop.

Everything fit great, and it functioned fine, but the pedal pressure was way way less than stock was.
The hydrolic clutch makes a stiff pressure plate easier to push, and makes a
soft pp a joke.

I tried to live with it for a couple weeks, but it actually made the Jeep tough to drive (very little feedback).

I had replaced the clutch because the throwout had blew, so the old PP was still good.
After a few weeks of driving with the limp-wristed clutch pedal, I swapped the stock PP back in, with the new disc, and was happy again.
