whats the best 8.8 out of to swap into xj ?

Stangs have 28 spline 8.8's IIRC...

That might be why they're not popular...

I REALLY don't like the pinion being more than 2" to the passenger's side on the Exploder 8.8.

you do know that your t-case inst center correct?

mine is about 1.5" to the passenger side...

just FYI

oh - and ranger rear ends are about 3" shorter than XJ

If you insist...Go with a 96 up Explorer V8 8.8. Center pin is larger than in a V6 Model.
