hi to all, I've a chilton manual, very basically..... now on e bay are available a manual shop on cd version very cheap than "paper" version.
there are 2 issue that are fit for my '90 xj limited:

CD copies on eBay? My bet is that they're illegal burned copies.

There's another thread round here from a couple of days ago with several legal sources.

I would like buy better manual than my chilton: the service manual are a good idea? for my '90 xj lmtd. wath's looking for: 1990 JEEP WAGONEER & GRAND WAGONEER service manual or 1990 JEEP CHEROKEE COMANCHE WRANGLER service manual???

Both links show Bishko CDs, and one says it's Bishko Books- isn't Bishko one of the legitimate publishers?

Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer would be the Full Size Jeeps. For an XJ, you would want the Cherokee/Comanche manual.
