What weight gear oil for a Dana 30 w/ ARB??

What weight gear oil do I use for a Dana 30 w/ an ARB? I'm remembering I had to do something special, but can't remember what it was. I try to buy all Royal Purple.

I don't remember it's the 140 ? I used Lucas in my 30 with arb and was good. With my spartan rear did the same but added special slip? Oil cause it made crazy noise which I later found was normal. Sounded very not normal but whatever

You don't need any special oil for the ARB or the spartan locker. Definitely don't need the limited-slip oil as there are no clutches, only teeth.

Arb gives a few weights based on use, or at leastthey did for my 8.8 arb
75-140 for severe use

I do not have lockers yet, but I use Amsoil SevereGear 75-110 both front and rear.

on ARB's site they specifically state NO traction additives .....they list different weights for different use

75-140 gl-5, this oil will cover all viscosity ranges from crawling to highway use. No limited slip additive is needed unless your relying on clutchs .
