i have been using my dads lincoln 180. i want a welder that will at least do 1/4" steel. besides craigs list and ebay. are there any shops or sites that i should look at for getting a welder for a good price? new or used does not matter. thenks

Airgas up here sells welders and there is a place right behind in n out on bear valley that also sells them....

you only want a 1/4" ... just get a 240V mig welder...

The 180 is nice. I've got a 130xp. Shop craigslist. I've found 135's on there for $250. I'm probably going to get a 172,175 or 180 soon.

My buddy still has a Miller 44D which is a diesel powered portable rig he's trying to sell.
