ubolts, 7/16 or 1/2" thread?

need ubolts for the bb im putting on the new rig, just dont know what thickness, 7/16 or 1/2"

I always replace mine with 9/16" fine thread. It's a squeeze, but you shouldn't have to mess with the holes in the spring plates. I've got one with a d44 & one with a d35 & used 9/16" U-bolts on both of them. Bigger is better up to a point. Just my opinion, but it has worked for me.

7/16 was used on the early Cherokees and 1/2 inch on the newer.

1/2 Inch seems about right for most applications.
