after we found facilities at the horse camp campground most of the group dicided to head out. except for me justin and mopar. we dicided on hoodraiser to hogsback. although we never made it to hogsback, i ended up poping a rear Ujoing at the diff yoke. yoke survived too. ended up driving all the way back home in front wheel drive. almost didnt make it. around the hwy 217 ext i could feel something binding literaly slowing me down untill it lightly poped and was good again. kept doing that the rest of the way home. i think the chain in the TC was starting to bind due to less than normal fluids as i dont have a SYE and didnt have tape to attach a pepsi bottle to the snout of the TC. we will see how things feel after i get the Ujoint fixed and toss some fluids in there.

all in all this was a great run. showed some folk what TSF is all about. i think everyone had fun, even the doggie. i am so down for the april run. see ya then.

Firebreak 5 was a defining run for the day. We went from 11 rigs to 6.. Then after playing in the snow.. I think everyone was ready to go.

Terry thats why we were asking you about an SYE.. We had bottles tape and all kinds of good Macgiver fare to plug that thing.

yeah. i kinda jumped the gun on leaving early.
the blue xj left with me to make sure i would make it.. i dont think an exhaust vibe is going to leave me stranded..

Wait now I don't know if I want to say that firebreak is what did me in more like a twenty year old piece of plastic along with a poorly designed cooling system lol. Thats ok though that is going to be took care of this coming friday.

you can have the back seat, although the window wont roll down anymore :spin1:

i just need a ride up there. ill be walking outside most of the time taking pics anyway

Alright, I'm "borrowing" internet from my upstairs neighbor so I can finally share my pictures. Its slow so no video yet...

Major props to BigDog for taking on the hill climb, I wasn't even willing to try and he made it.

And then problems...

After that I went around to the top to help out with fixing things. Tried to run the next section but dented up my rocker panel, door and fender flare and decided to back out and ended up calling it a day to escort BigDog down to the highway. At that point, my brother and I decided to go to the beach. It was... lovely?

I love stormy weather at the beach :)

I took this picture because I don't think Terry's antenna gets enough attention. It keeps us all safe from lightning.. and geez who needs a cell.. he can reach Mars with that thing.
