Trans/transfer case swap from one XJ to another

Hey guys, quick question, I found a 1998 XJ with a bad transmission. It has a good 4.0 and it's a 2wd. I want to swap my transmission, front axle and transfer case from my 1995 and place it into the nicer, newer 98. Is this possible?
