Ok... I replaced a cone seal last year when I found tranny fluid leaking around it. Now it is leaking again. The weird thing is that it only leaks when it gets over 75 degrees outside. (Doesn't happen too often in seattle). Should I be using a thicker transmission fluid? (Is there even such a thing?)
It is leaking from around the cone seal, on the shaft. When I changed the seal, I first thought they gave me the wrong size. (it was too big), but then noticed that that is the only size available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using DexMerc transmission fluid.
