Tow Points

Whats everyone doing for tow points in the rear. I realy don't wanna buy a hitch because i am going to have a rear bumper built. But i don't have the money to get it built yet. Any ideas on possibly mounting some tow hooks somewhere in the rear??

I got a used hitch for $60. Hard to beat that and you can sell it when your bumpers built to get you money back.

bumper or hitch is the best way, distributes load to both sides.

However, there is a stock towhook for the rear. They're hard to come by, but you can basically make one yourself with a metal spacer to bring the hook down below the bottom of the bumper and a nut-strip to bolt onto.

i would use a hitch off of an xj at a junk yard for cheap. then sell it when you get your bumper sell it off as stated above. just be sure to get the nut strips too.

I never thought about getting a junkyard hitch. I will have to check around these junkyards
