i have 33'' tsl Radial and geard 4.56 and locked front and rear want to go to the 36'' tsl Radial can i get a way with the 36'' with 4.56 for now and put 4.88 in later
It used to be a non-issue since the deepest you could go without swapping the front axle was 4.56 anyways and plenty of people still ran 35s or 36s with success. You'll lose some power but it shouldn't be too horrible.

I would be concerned about the axles you are swinging those 36's around with.
A 33X12.50X15" tire is abut 50lbs, and a 36" inch tire has got to be in the 65lb range. That will have more of an affect on your Jeep than a few points on the gearing range.
