Tint Shops

I'm in the market of tint shopping for my new toy and was wondering if anyone on here has done business/ knows a reputable shop that does great work for the right price. i know price is usually calculated upon how much area i have to cover...but still, anyone know some good places? Looking to do either 5%-15% on the side windows and back window, and 35% on the windshield...

I would highly recomend against tinting the front windshield. I run 5% on all my windows then 35% on the front windows and none on the windshield. A it is very illegal to tint the front windshield and B it is hard to see out of compared to clear.

dark tint on winshields is stupid, unless its not a daily driven/night driven car, can't see out of it, blurs vision etc. not to mention its illegal.

I have to go with what is being said wouldn't do the front windshield. When you do look around for someone to do it, make sure they are smoking the window not tinting it. Tint film will chip and bubble after time as smoked last. I think there was a place in va wash that does good work can't remember the name off the top of my head but will let you know who it once I figure it out. I know that don't help now but I'll try to figure out the name for you.

i know the legal ramifications of tinting the front windshield, but as for the rear window and side windows, technically it is legal to tint the rear whatever i want as long as i have rear view mirrors and i can legally tint to 35% on the sides...i know its hard to look out of but, im also just looking for prices, one of my friends got his done for around $380-400...

Nice ride Keil. I have friends with 5% tint all the way around and like 20% tint on the front, IMO you can still see out exactly the same as you would with out a tint. You just can't see in.

P.S. I believe your allowed to have up to 35% tint on the front window if you have "eye problems" and your doctor OKs it, so you can always pull that card.

and i was able to get the rare suede leather seats and gps navi, the list goes on. haha

all i gotta say is this things moves...and corners like non other...:skull1: hahahaha

im just seeing where some shops are and if someone knows a good place to do business with. I might just go with a light tint all around, haven't completely decided yet.

Those Alcantra inserts are pretty rare. Very fun cars, I almost bought one on several occasions, but get ready to BOHICA when it breaks. Which it will...and often.

Dunno if you wanna come this far south, but Tint Xperts in Auburn has done all my referral work for over 10 years and always had good success. I forgot who it was, but someone else here had them do his car. They are kind of flaky to deal with, but always top notch work. Tint Xperts, 253-850-6303.
