I can't say I have any particular love of them or the crap they spew (and believe me, living in California I get to see more than my fair share of it), but this is precisely how the 1st Amendment is intended to work. Of course, 'protected speech' doesn't mean that they're protected from the consequences of their speech...

this is the exactly correct... One day they will protest at the wrong group of people... and there will be violence... people will get busted... but the protesters will get hurt... I would plead temporary insanity... like if I was defending my child (even in death)... but I believe Karma is a funny thing... and Karma will get them...
