The Official CraigsList Thread...

5.5 inch rubicon express lift -

No price. Seems to be just springs, control arms, track bar and brake lines. No drop brackets pictured.

Here's the response I received from this guy:

i did start to try to install it but it does not have all the parts, like the drop brackets and sway bar disconnects and u bolts ect. because they did not sell the parts in a kit that i wanted. the pieces that i do have is fully adjustable upper and lower control arms, track bar with bracket, 28" brake lines, rear leaf springs, and front coil springs, when i tried to put it on i found that the control arm drop brackets were not necessary but could help, for the pieces separately i spent 1500 dollars, the kit was so restricted that i wanted to piece it together myself. the sway bar disconects that i bought were a paid in the ass to use so you are better off getting the 2nd generation ones, thank you for your interest

i don't have to tell you, craiglist's search engine is so rudimentary. by contrast, ebay's search allows you to set search parameters, save your searches and recieve notifications, and does not limit you to location.

i'd like to find software that does this, and i know there are some programs out there. does anyone here use craiglist's search software? what do you use? do you like it?

From what I hear, CrazedList is the way to go (http://www.crazedlist.org/). I try to avoid looking at Craig's List too much, because I'll just end up buying stuff. But either Crazed List, or the tech folks run weird search engines, which I'm sure they'll post up.

I use Google to seach craiglist. Not ideal, but can be helpful.

You can specify multiple locations, and use all the typical google functions. The following search function will search San Diego, Orange County and Inland Empire for Cherokee Control arm, but exclude grand:

Cherokee control arms -grand site:http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/ OR site:http://sandiego.craigslist.org/ OR site:http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/

I use this one sometimes, helps a little for craigslist. Somebody told me about it here, you can search by radius instead of city.
