THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It wouldn't have happened this time either if he had called

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Their main brand is kubota and I believe simplicity
The two right brands at least. ;)
I already have a Kubota L3540 and got a line on a great deal on a Simplicity Broadmoor 2650.

Thanks anyway though!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ok let me know, I see the mom and pop that own it daily

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Changed the oil in the seXJ tonight for the first time since I bought it in June 2012. It looked surprisingly good considering it had 13k plus on it, maybe I'll push it to 20k next time.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just ordered a pizza delivery from Papa Johns 'cuz I'm lazy, working in the garage, and they are always really good about getting here pretty fast.

Turns out the delivery person was a really cute girl. With long hair, in those little black-frame glasses. And I'm in my garage clothes ( = dirty greasy stuff), and probably did a very poor job hiding my double-take when I answered the door.

Maybe I'll order Papa Johns more often.

I bet that girl quits tonight.

That earlllll was fine, think about who installed it. Also, I changed it sometime once when your shoulder fell off, but I thought you bought it from me with like 152k on it?

You changed it right when I bought it, not sure how many miles were on it exactly but I thought it was 158k. I'll have to check the title this weekend. Either way I bet it blows up within a week.

No, that'll be after I request her in the 'special instructions' part of my next order. :eyes:

The last few times it's been this funny mexican guy, and the car was the same (some shit-ass old beater with a broken muffler).

"Hey, I'll take a look at your tailpipe."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's pretty standard practice to call your bank before going on road trips so this doesn't happen

Just sayin

**** you doug!

Im happy they flaged it but I just whish they notified me in some way. eveyone else I know that has had suspicious activity has been notified either first or very shortly after.

Mine got blocked when I was out at KOH, due to a 'series of potentially fraudulent transactions'.

1. Pack of cigarettes at a 7-11 near Philly Airport
2. $7 in-flight charge from US Air (had a beer)
3. $4 in-flight charge (bought an hour of WiFi to check my connecting flight)
4. $8 charge at a 7-11 near Cali airport (bought beef jerky for the drive to the desert)
5. $25ish charge at a gas station in Barstow, CA (fueled up the rental before heading into the desert)
6. $25ish charge at a gas station in Bishop, CA (fueled the rental before heading into the mountains)

The bank called me that morning (just what I wanted at 6 AM), at which point I informed them I did indeed make those purchases, and was going to be in Cali for the next 10 days. Game back on.

Just struck me as odd, because any logical person would look at that order of events and just figure that hey, somebody went to an airport, flew on a plane, landed, got a rental car, and put gas in it. Thanks for being proactive I guess.

I've never once called the bank ahead of time to notify them of travel plans. Hell, I don't remember to tell my parents half the time.

Speaking of travel, anyone know how Rt. 301 is through Maryland? I have to make a trip to Hollywood, MD next week and am driving there...not sure if I want to do the loop around Baltimore & DC or pick up 301 in Delaware and take that all the way. If it's not completely full of suck then I might do anyway just to d something different.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

To me I don't see it as an issue if a quick phone call fixes the card shutoff. I little embarrassing at the register wherever you find out though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

When I moved out to Colorado, in the days before cell phones I opened a credit card to pay for gas since I was broke, first three charges where 500 miles apart, found out they shut it off at the pump, had to wait at a 'Kum and go' for three hours

It was surprisingly difficult to explain to the trooper that I wasn't a vagrant or loitering due to my hair, beard and at that time still illegal odor coming from my sweet escort
