Team NAXJA/Petty Cash Racing stock class KOH XJ build

Looks Awesome Richard and congrats on your success racing XJs!

It was a pleasure meeting you in person many years ago!

Great time on Sunday being able to help out a little and see the rig in person. Forgot to mention it, but those are some of the best looking wheels I've seen.

got any specs on the motor? its a stroker right? roller rockers with that spacer on the valve cover?

It's a Jeep 6 cyl, custom pistons, good cam, different valve springs, good compression ratio, bigger injectors, port matched 99+ intake and larger throttle body, Banks header, etc, etc. :D

Don't forget the tank full of VP racing gas. Stupid compression and its requirements.

A little behind taking pictures. Another couple of days and we should have the engine running, drivelines in and start on finishing touches in place.

I recieved care packages from Hesco, Advanced Adapters and Longfield today. Expect some stuff from Brown Dog and RCV tomorrow, and can start buttoning up a few projects.

This car is going to be FUN!

1) 2" wide JJ's won't hold up very well to the abuse we're going to put down.

2) JJ's won't deflect very well, and we're running 4 link + panhard.

If this was a 3 link, JJ's or a rod end would make more sense.

It does. Mounted single sheer with a 7.5" long 3/4" grade 8 bolt.

I can't say that its entirely our idea. I had considered something like this a few years ago but wasn't really sure if I could make it work.

Blaine @ Black Magic Brakes has done this a few times and urged us to give it a try. I am really happy that we listened to him.
