Synthetic Winch Rope

After doing an exhaustive amount of research on synthetic rope when I bought mine, the two elements you want to watch out for is temperature resistance and minimum breaking strength. The one you're looking at MBS is only 1,000lbs. The industry average is around 5k lbs. Also you want to take notice of the melting point. Dyneema starts to break down around 150 degrees, so if you're doing any extended pulling or you're in the desert, you'll get to 150* pretty quickly.

I went with a Kevlar-covered Superline rope. It's much more pricey, but it'll give me the peace of mind that I need when winching myself out of a bad situation.

Thanks for the input!!!
