Stripped Brake Fitting

White Knuckle

I'm in the middle of a master/booster swap and the rear fitting on the proportioning valve stripped. I had to cut the line and get a socket on there. The front is a 7/16" and this one was a 12.65mm or something smaller than 13mm...couldn't get the flare wrench or a regular to bite. What size is this (1989 XJ, no ABS) and why must Jeep use more than one size nut/bolt/fitting on just about every part? I had a little trouble with the WJ lines, but I will just reuse them with XJ fittings...if I can find this one...

I was hoping to finally swap my disc'ed Ford 8.8 and RE leafs in after...AH - 7 years!!! :dunno:
